There are 27 TCATs located across the state, providing training for workers to obtain the technical and professional skills necessary for advancement in today's job market. With graduation rates over 85 percent statewide and job placement rates equally as high, TCATs are a great option for adults hoping to gain a unique skill and advance into a career quickly. The TN Reconnect Grant is a last-dollar scholarship, meaning it will cover the remaining costs of tuition and mandatory fees for a TCAT program after all other state and federal financial aid has been applied. The grant serves to enable more adults to attend TCATs by lessening the financial burden. General fields of study
